Intercultural communication

For many years, I have been working with people from different social, religious, linguistic backgrounds and have myself been a foreigner in several host countries. Observations gathered over the years, reinforced by personal experience, serve as the basis for helpful insights – some amusing, some frustrating – about cultural awareness and living/working in a context of diversity. For example, just the term “culture” in itself has so many facets and can inspire lively discussions. In my seminars, participants have the opportunity to reflect and to self-reflect, identifying stumbling blocks and trying out potential solutions, for example, through role-playing exercises.
